The position will provide great communication, networking, and sales experience. It will also have some emphasis on client management and customer service. You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for the position. Responsibilities will include recruiting musicians to the service, creating awareness, selling the service to venues and promoting the effective use of the service. Much of your time will be spent visiting venues before, during, and after shows. Good phone skills and a willingness to do business over the phone are also critical. If you enjoy live music this is a great opportunity to get involved with the local scene while getting valuable business experience applicable to any industry. This is a non-paid position which should be arranged for academic credit if possible.
