Ryan Hiller has known that music was going to be the focus of his life ever since he was born. He began singing at the early age of 5 years old, and took up the guitar a year later. He began playing professionally at the early age of 14 for private parties in Park City, Utah. By the time he was out of high school, Ryan had been playing in over five working bands, one of which, "Real Eyes," had opened up for the Black Eyed Peas and John Scofield. Ryan decided at the age of 18 to move to New Orleans, because he wanted to take his playing to the next level. Ryan received a degree in jazz performance from the University of New Orleans five years later. While working on his degree he worked with may of the local artists, and played at all of the local venues, including House Of Blues, Tipitinas, The Maple Leaf, The Carrolton Station, the New Orleans Jazz Festival etc... He later went on a national tour with Theresa Andersson, and decided that one day he wanted to live in southern California. After Hurricane Katrina, Ryan decided it was time to try something new. Ryan now resides in San Diego, CA, where he is self employed as a full time musician.
